Tonia Jahsan started "Steeped Tea" as a way of introducing family and friends to the wonderful world of tea through home parties. She spent one year as the company's only tea party consultant throwing parties and introducing women and families to a relatively unknown and diverse product. Business grew quickly and she could not keep up with the demand. She decided to bring on other women as consultants and allowed them to become commissioned partners.
